funny story . . .
went to LA for a little business on Monday . . .
arrived a day early on Sunday with my best friend Maresa
to have some fun in the Sun!!
On the schedule was a little vintage shopping . . .
first stop an Outdoor Vintage Market called
I was so excited to enjoy a little vintage shopping in the sunshine . . . and I was looking forward to sharing it all with you!!
Unfortunately - it started to rain . . . and rain . . . and rain . . .
and before we even walked through the entrance of the market
it was starting to shut down.
By the time we walked several blocks and found a cab - we were not only drenched as if we had just had a shower with our clothes on . . . but we were starving!!!
We asked the driver to keep driving until we saw a place to eat . . .
Then I saw this . . .
and yelled this . . . Stop the Cab!!
My friend Pam Robinson from Red Ticking has talked about this place for years . . .
so I just knew this was where we needed to be . . .
and sure enough it was!!
It was pure Heaven . . . a food lover's paradise!!
If you love good food and are ever in LA - you have to put this on your list . . .
You will LOVE it!!!
once we had something to eat . . . and had a big bag of food to go . . . we ventured back out and did a little shopping.
. . . . . . .
I will be in Texas next . . .
crossing my fingers for glorious weather . . .
oh - and great vintage!!!
(I will be stocking up the On-line store very soon!!!)
Have a great week everyone!!
xoxo - liz

It's a little - unkind - of the heavens to open in LA on a visitor from Washington State!
I'll look Joan's up next time I'm in LA, and I'll say the two soaked ladies recommended it.
Gah! I've been DYING to visit Joan's, Liz! It just looks heavenly so I'm glad that it lives up to that expectation. Happy travels!
Put it on my list!
Glad you had fun ...
