new coat . . . new thoughts . . .

linen
coat for . . .

"Hattie Bird"

I have been working extremely hard lately on a number of
different projects . . .
and
the girls clothing line is one of the things I have been working on . . .

lately . . . to my surprise - I have had a few requests for women's sizes . . .
especially in the skirts and coats!!

I originally saw this as a girls line - but I am thinking of doing
a few pieces for a few friends per their request . . .
and then seeing how it goes from there.

would love your thoughts??

to the queen . . .

she walks to her own step . . .

and I really . . . really . . .

like that!!!

Her name is Cindy
and everyone knows her as the . . .
Queen of Tarte!!

I am pretty much fascinated by everything she does!!!
for one thing. . .

she is sweet and kind and is completely down to earth . . .

she is a free spirit,
(with her soul-mate Barry by her side)

has a bit of gypsy in her heart . . .

not to mention a bit of French in her soul!!!

I always love her blog music . . . and when I hear the song . . .
"Mercy". . .
her and her blog instantly come to mind as that is where
I first heard it!!

Cindy also has this great and wonderful dog . . . Jake!!

What more could she possibly possess??

well . . . let me tell you!!! :)

Cindy is incredibly and I mean incredibly talented
in everything she does!!

Especially when it comes to finding . . .
really great vintage!!!

Her Barn Sales are amazing,
creative and beautiful!!

(much more so than any picture can portray)

and guess what??

there is one happening tomorrow!!
yes - tomorrow!!

so "dream" tonight of something you desire . . .
and tomorrow it might just be yours . . .

I hear she has 3 trailer loads of fresh merchandise
at the barn this weekend!!

If you have a chance . . .
you should definitely check this out!!

Trust me when I say - it is absolutely 100 % worth the trip!!
(regardless of where you live!!)
My friend Deb and I went to the last one, did some serious shopping and . . .
had an absolutely wonderful time!!!

Saturday May 22nd

Market Girls . . .

a few pictures of some of our

Seabold Vintage Market Girls . . .

I always love taking pictures of the girls at the market . . .

i love the way photos capture memories . . .
someday these girls will be all grown up . . . but for now
they are sweet little girls . . .
enjoying a day at the market!!

the photo above is of Ava, Hattie,
and Kay's sweet little niece . . .

I love this photo of Ava wearing one
of my "Hattie Girl" skirts . . .
she purchased it a few days before at Embellish and came
to the market wearing it.
I was so excited that I had to take this picture!!

(Ava is sweet, beautiful, part French and . . .
yes - she fully understands the art of dressing well!!)

Sweet little Cerinne and Hattie eating cupcakes!!

I plan to take a cupcake photo of Cerinne at each Market.
(I think it will be fun to have a series of them as she grows up!!)

and last . . .
but most definitely not least . . .

a photo of some of my very favorite market girls!!!

Bekah, Mudge, RaeJean, Paula, Pat, Heather,
Deb, Carol, Linda, Kathleen and Cathy.

YOU ARE THE BEST!!!

Without all of you - there would not be a Market!!!

Blessings to each and every one of you . . .
you are all beautiful and amazing women!!

Finders Keepers Game!!

The smiles on these pictures are always amazing!!
I just love them!!

Carrie . . .
the finder keeper of a great
light-blue typewriter ribbon tin!

Terri . . .
was the finder keeper of two items . . .
a cool old metal container and
a great red nehi bottle!!

Unfortunately . . .
I forgot to take a picture of the gal who found
the red floral tray.
if you are reading this blog right now . . . I would absolutely love
a picture with you and the tray!! :)
(I am going to do a really cool post at the end of the year and
would like as many finders keepers pictures as possible!!)

No one found the old Listerine bottle . . .
I will save it for next time!! :)

Finders Keepers . . .

as I have said before . . .

You have to have a little fun in life!!

Here are the items for the . . .

Finders Keepers Game
Spring Flea 2010

The finders Keepers game is fun and easy . . .

  • review the blog before each market to see what items are in the game . . . (sometimes I do this the night before or the morning of the market!)
  • find the item in one of the vendor's booths . . .
  • it will say "Found" on the tag and will not have a price . . .
  • bring it to the cashier at the main entrance . . . we will verify it, take your picture for an upcoming blog post on all the winners . . .
  • and then the best part . . . you get to keep it!!!! :)

Have Fun and Good Luck!!

I love this game . . . hope you do too!!!

See you all soon . . . can't wait!!!

Sneek Peek #4 . . .

and finally . . .

a very special
Sneek - Peek!!!

I am so excited to show you this!!

just look at this
vintage pink, great red
and soft creams . . .

with names like
"Rose Bud", "Raw Sugar" and "Milk Weed" . . .

or this wonderful . . .
"Campfire Coffee" or "Blue-Eyed Girl"

These soft vintage colors are from a new paint line called . . .

"Refined Finishes"

which is going to be launched this Summer
by my dear friend . . .
"Pat Rushon"

Pat not only understands the paint business . . .
but she also has an incredible eye when it comes to color!!

The first collection of colors above were inspired by the

Bainbridge Blues Fabric Collection.

These colors will be on display tomorrow
along with
some of her new fresh greens and warm sunny yellows!!

and wait . . .
that's not all . . .

It is a no-VOC paint line . . .
that is friendly to the environment as well! :)

Pat and I are also working together on a
Paint Collection for . . .
Seabold Vintage Market!!

A few of my favorites above!!
