friendship . . .

this is a story about two sweet little girls . . .

a few darling"Barn House" kittens . . .

and a truly special friendship that developed . . .

in this crazy vintage world!!

This is my daughter "Hattie" . . . and her friend - who's name is also "Hattie!!

These two girls met last year at Barn House . . .
and became instant friends . . .

yes . . . they shared the same name . . .

and were also very close to the same age . . .

and they both had a deep LOVE for . . .
those cute little Barn House kittens!!

And this year was no exception . . .

the two girls had soooo much fun together . . .

as they laughed and played . . .

and found the perfect place for the kittens . . .
to take a little rest.

I do want to say . . .
I think the kittens enjoyed all of this . . .

 

and as for the girls . . .
well . . .

 

their smiles say it all!!! :)

I am so glad these two found a friendship . . .

that could perhaps last from year to year . . .

or yes - even a lifetime . . . :)

one just never knows . . .:)

To be very honest here . . .

I took these pictures with the intent of having photos of some of the pieces

of the new "Hattie Bird" Fall collection (the plaid dress) . . .

but what I realized - when I looked at these photos . . .

is that they are truly soooo much more than marketing photos . . .

they are a record of a wonderful memory . . .

of a moment of time . . .

of two sweet and very special little girls and the friendship that they share!!

I am sooo very, very happy . . .
that it was actually captured . . . in photos!!

and we all had such a wonderful time!!

and my sweetie pie husband for helping me out this year!!

I can't forget - a bit of help from our sweet Joe, and my darling little girl Hattie!! :)

With all the planning and preparing . . .

we didn't manage to arrive at Barn House until just after 4:30 the night before the show.
Seriously!! :)

It was quite obvious to me and those close to me . . .
that even though I can set up really, really fast . . .
I may have been pushing the time envelope just a bit - lol!! :)

We were all up very late . . . but we pulled it all together . . .
along with a few things from Kathryn special treasures!! :)

And . . . when the show started . . . and we sold our first item . . .
I was reminded of why I do all of this . . .

It is you - the customers . . .
that make all of this sooo special for each of us vendors . . .

It was a most beautiful day at Barn House last Saturday . . .
and for starters . . . lets just say it was HOT . . .
in more ways than just the weather!!

The whole experience was truly amazing from start to finish!!

and there was something for everyone that day . . .

tons of really great vintage finds . . .

farm animals around every corner . . .

and sweet kids having fun. . .
playing on tractors . . .

and cuddling with the sweet barn kittens . . .

and . . . then of course . . . there were the darling trailer girls . . .

especially looking fine was our sweet girl Tiffany . . .

lets just say . . . heads were a turning . . . as she was looking especially HOT!!

She is always so much fun to be around . . .

one of the truest . . . kindest . . .
and of course . . . happiest girls I have ever met!!!
