window details . . . from Portugal . . .

  

a few years ago . . .

our little family took a trip to Portugal . . . 

One thing I particularly loved there was all the 

door and window details!!

I thought I would share a few photos from that trip . . .

 

the photo above was taken from a place 

we stayed at in a very small town . . . 

I have to say that it was more than wonderful . . . and even had

a small cooking school where you could take classes!! 

(After experiencing this place in person - I so wish I would have taken a class or two . . . 

I will try and find the name of the place - as it was really, really wonderful!!)

window treatment in Portugal . . . 

so simple . . . yet . . . so very beautiful!!

and this last photo is one of my favorites . . .

I love everything about it . . . especially the great hardware

and the curved window at the top!!

Looking at these pictures again - makes me want to return to this beautiful country . . .

(I am most definitely coming down with a "traveling bug"!!!)
